Chronic Fatigue Syndrome

Chronic fatigue syndrome is the main common type of chronic disease. Chronic fatigue syndrome has symptoms like flu diseases such as swollen lymph glands, headaches, sore throat and muscle pain or fever. It can be developed after any infection such as viral syndrome and cold.

Healthy people are also affected by this disease. They may feel weakness, extreme fatigue, headaches, and problem in concentration, muscles or lymph nodes and severe pain in joints. Mostly women are affected by chronic fatigue syndrome.

Steady exercise: You should be started graduated exercise program. This exercise may improve your energy level. It can help to decrease the weakness of muscle. You can take help of physical therapist in this procedure.

Treatment of allergy: Health care provider will be recommended antihistamines such as cetirizine and fexofenadine to treat the allergy symptoms.

Treatment of severe pain: Anti-inflammatory drugs such as ibuprofen and aspirin will be preferred by health care provider to reduce the pain.

Treatment of hypotension: People who have chronic fatigue syndrome can be used drugs such as atenolol, fludrocortisone and midodrine to fight against hypotension.

  • You should be aware of the signs and symptoms of this disorder.

  • You should reduce the stress level.
  • You should be start exercise such as swimming, walking and water aerobics.
  • You should maintain your diet chat. Take fresh fruits and vegetables.
  • You should avoid smoking and caffeine.
  • You should drink lots of water.
