Hyper Tension:
Hyper tension is also known as high blood pressure. It can be associated by high tension in the arteries. Blood is carried by the arteries from the pumping heart and transmitted it to the organs and all tissues of the body.

The diastolic blood pressure is the bottom number of blood pressure measurement, this represents as pressure in the arteries as the heart is at rest after contraction. Stroke, kidney disease, eye damage and heart disease are high risk of developing by hypertension.
Causes of hypertension:
The amount of blood pumped by the heart may help to diagnose the hypertension. Salt content and the quantity of water in the body, nervous system, levels of hormones and kidneys conditions can be affected the hypertension. Sometimes, environmental factors and diet can be associated hypertension.
Secondary hypertension is caused by Cushing’s syndrome, use of medications and other chemicals, oral contraceptives, kidney disorders, wilms’ tumor, henoch- schonlein purpura and radiation enteritis.
Signs and symptoms of hypertension:

- Heart failure
- Excessive fatigue and tiredness

Medications are very effective treatment to control the blood pressure. Medications may include calcium channel blockers, angiotensin receptor blockers, beta-blockers, alpha blockers and diuretics.

Prevention:
- You should do exercise such as walking regularly.

- You should eat foods that contain fibre, less salt and low fat.
- If you have heavy body weight, loose your weight.
- You should avoid smoking.
- You should minimize alcohol consumption.
- You should avoid fried foods, salt, sugar and caffeine
- You should drink lots of water.
