Vitamins A, D, E & K are fat soluble vitamins and Vitamin B & C are water soluble vitamins.


The fat soluble vitamins can be stored in the body fat and can be utilised for the body metabolism as and when required. Whereas the water soluble vitamins B & C can not be stored by the body for too long and any excess is excreted in the urine, hence we need to take these vitamins (B & C) on regularly.
