Causes & Nature Cure of Pain In Abdomen
Pain in abdomen is also a common problem. Children, aged people and youngsters all suffer from this trouble. It`s symptoms are following:

  • Twisting pain in stomach
  • Feeling some relief after going to toilet
  • Pain with intervals or continuous pain
  • Unwillingness for taking meal
  • Occasional vomiting sensation accompanied with pain in stomach

Causes of Pain in Abdomen:
Usually pain in stomach occurs due to Constipation and Indigestion. Faecal matter gets dry in large intestine due to improperevacuation. Sometimes worms or accumulation of wind in the intestines also causes pain in stomach.

Pain in abdomen becomes usual due to continuous eating of heavy and spicy food. Pain in abdomen occurs due to Ulcer, Colitis and Appendicitis also. Sometimes these disorders occur due to eating irregularities also.

Treatment of Pain in Abdomen:
Pada HastasanaIn stomach-ache first of all warm water enema should be taken for cleansing of bowels. Hot and cold fomentation and Mud pack over abdomen also stops the pain. Hip bath of warm water also gives relief. Eating must be stopped immediately in the condition of stomach-ache.

Sometimes stomach-ache arises due to naval displacement. In such cases four naval correcting asanas should be practised after doing Kunjal empty stomach in the morning. After that Udar Shakti Vikasaka Exercises ofYogic Sukshma Vyayama alongwith Tadasana, Katichakrasana, Pada-Hastasana, Suptapavanmuktasana, Bhujangasana, Dhanurasana, Vajrasana, Mandukasana and Ardhamatsyendrasana should be practised. Bhastrika. Suryabhedana Pranayama and Agnisara Kriya are also beneficial for pain in abdomen.
